What is the closest Airport to Placencia?

Placencia Peninsula has only one airport.


It is located about 5 minutes ( 3 km) drive north of Placencia Village, and about 8 minutes (5km) drive south of Seine Bight Village.


2. Shuttle From Belize City to Placencia

You can charter a shuttle operator that will pick you up at the Philip Goldson International Airport - and anywhere in Belize City, and transport you directly to your place of stay.

3. Driving from Belize City to Placencia

On the drive to Placencia, you can stop at the Belize Zoo, the Guanacaste Park, The St. Herman's Blue Hole National Park, and the drive through the picturesque Hummingbird Highway is an experience in itself.


The Belize City to Placencia drive time is approximately 3 hours (180km), it will probably take longer when you are driving because you will want to stop and take in the views on the way down.


Traveling from Belize City to Placencia by Bus

If you are looking for affordability then traveling by bus is your best option.


If you want to get to Placencia on the same day you are flying into Belize's Philip Goldson International Airport, then you will want to be aware of the bus schedule.
